Eating Green things
Popeye knew what he was doing eating all that green stuff
1 Cup of Spinach contains: protein, calcium, iron, magnesium, and potassium.
Spinach has 839 milligrams of potassium per cooked cup! Bananas (which are known for their potassium) has about 540 milligrams,
Now we know that spinach is good for us but sometimes it can be boring.
Here are some ways that I add spinach to my diet
-add it to wraps and sandwiches
- add it to egg whites or omelettes
- sneak it into pastas and soups
- or try this (I just started doing this) lightly sautee it with a bit of olive oil. Season with pepper and salt and a bit of parmesan cheese.
